Surplus Sam's started in 2002 with our South Burnaby store and a contract with a major retailer/wholesaler to buy up their customer returns, clearance, freight claims, and just about anything they wanted to send us. Since then we have diversified some of our product to include merchandise from bankruptcies and liquidations.
Due to the nature of this business, our merchandise is always changing and often very unique... see something once, you may never see it again... anywhere!
This website represents a very small percentage of the products that can be found in our store, but also has some merchandise from our storage warehouse that can only be found online.

Website Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may contact us for a return within 10 days of receiving the item by post or by store-pickup. PLEASE DO NOT SHIP ITEMS BACK TO US WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST.
If an item has been shipped to you, we will refund your full original purchase price including original shipping cost. However, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
For items that are picked-up in-store, WE WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS. We will give you a store credit for the full purchase price, which can be used in either store, but not online.
Items must be in original condition and packaging, unwashed, unworn, with all labels and tags still present.
Undergarments; Ladies bathing suits; books; opened cd's, dvd's, and video games; computer software; and marked AS-IS items are all final sale and cannot be returned unless the item is found to be incorrectly described on the website or has damage that was not noted on the website, in which case the regular return policy will apply to the item(s). The management reserves the right to determine whether an item meets these criteria.
If you purchase an item on our website, the item will be checked over and carefully packaged before sending. Immediately after your purchase, please contact us with any specific concerns so that if necessary we can refund your money or meet your specific requirements before the item is shipped.
In-Store Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase made in one of our stores, you may return it with original receipt within 10 days. Items must be in original condition and packaging, unwashed or worn, with all labels and tags still present. If you are a Surplus Sam's member, a receipt is not required.
WE DO NOT REFUND MONEY for any purchases made in-store. You will be issued a store credit for the total purchase price, which can be used in either store, and has no expiry.
